2008-2009 Symphony concert schedule

April 25th, 2009

Strike up the band with
Gershwin

What's not to like about music by George Gershwin? Imagine yourself dining with friends, being served at your table with great food and beverages. Then see yourself having the time of your life laughing at jokes and clapping your hands to tunes like Fascinating Rhythm" being mesmerized over chords from Rhapsody in Blue, or lingering over the words to The Man I Love, It Ain't Necessarity So, "Crazy Over You," and "I Got Rhythm."

The Symphony of the Redwoods performs selections from the Gershwin collection at Eagles Hall in Fort Bragg on Saturday April 25, 2009.

It will be a musical extravaganza with instrumental and vocal soloists, an auction to conduct Strike Up the Band, a balloon raffle (everybody wins!), and a silent auction with great deals to entertain you between courses of great cuisine, all accompanied by music.

Order your tickets now as there is limited seating. Last year's "Pops" was sold out! Call 707-964-0898, or email: symphony@mcn.org
