Irene Malone
Irene Malone joined the Board of the Symphony of the Redwoods in 2011. Her chief function for us — beyond the responsibilities of her board membership — is to recruit volunteers for Symphony events. A retired San Francisco teacher (mostly English as a Second Language), she relocated to Fort Bragg 14 years ago.

Irene works as a family advocate for the Early Start Program located at Safe Passage Family Resource Center. She also facilitates a support group, Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, and works as an interpreter (¡Español!) in various venues.
